Bankroll Management Guide
Smart bankroll management is what separates long-term recreational players from those who run into financial trouble. Before you place a single bet at 9kbd, decide on a fixed gambling budget — an amount you are genuinely comfortable losing without affecting rent, bills, or daily expenses in Dhaka or wherever you live.
Divide your session bankroll into smaller units so that a single bad run does not wipe out your entire budget. A good rule of thumb is to split your daily allowance into at least five equal session amounts, and never top up mid-session if you have exhausted one unit.
- Set a firm budget before you start — never gamble with money needed for essentials like food, transport, or family obligations.
- Follow the 1-5% per-bet rule — stake no more than 1-5% of your session bankroll on a single wager to extend your play time and reduce variance.
- Walk away after a meaningful win — lock in a portion of your profit and resist the urge to immediately risk it all again.
- Set a stop-loss limit — decide in advance the maximum you will lose in one session, and quit the moment you reach that figure.
- Keep a simple play log — note your deposit amounts, wins, losses, and session durations so you can review your actual gambling spend each month.
Remember: gambling at 9kbd is intended as entertainment, not as a source of income. Chasing losses is one of the most common and most damaging patterns in problem gambling — if you find yourself doing it, take an immediate break and consider using our self-exclusion or deposit limit tools.
